1994 Subaru SVX Grand Touring Coupe $9,994 SOLD

This SVX was Purchased new in Vancouver Washington from Dick Hannah Subaru by the original Portland Oregon owner July 29th 1994. SVX was on the Showroom Floor. Owner had very high quality sheep skins installed on the front seats the day he purchased the car and they had not been removed till I removed them in mid March. Original service & maintenance books, warranty / service contract card and window sticker with the ADP Sticker. Total Price was $36,415 Car was well maintained and garage kept from new till I purchased it August 28th, 2021.
Vehicle is all original, no after market modifications.
When the original owner picked up the car he noted that it looked to have had a little paint work on the rear lower valence but dealer didn't know or say why, was very miner. In 2018 the car sustained very light parking lot damage on left front. There was also a few areas that clear coat was looking a bit faded so owner had the car stripped to bare metal and re-painted by the shop that did his 1936 Ford Restoration and paint. Paint is show quality and looks better than factory original. Very light rock chips and couple tiny scratches that you really have to look for. Car has never experienced any thing other than the light damage already discussed. Owner was a bit of a fanatic when it came to the over paint & condition of his cars.
Ash tray cover in center console below radio does not stay shut. Rear seat back rests have sun damage that causes holes in leather see photo through rear window. Steering wheel shows ware on rim as does e-brake handle. Back portion of center console in front of ash tray is torn / cracked see detailed photos. Sunroof occasionally needs a boost by hand to close (very light touch - seems to get better with use??) Front suspension makes a bit of noise on very bumpy roads. Key FOB does not work. Hood struts are a little week. Some of the isolation on underside of hood is damaged/thin.
No Rust present that I could find.
Some service records show on the CarFax report. Previous owner stated that all factory services were performed as recommended. Was serviced at Hannah Subaru up to 126, 886 miles with some extra oil changes in between.
Transmission was rebuilt buy a highly respected shop in Gresham Oregon in 2016, owner could not find receipt
Services were taken over by Precision Import Repair in Hillsboro Oregon that specializes in Subaru service with service reported at 139, 642 miles and new struts at 139,706 miles
Last service was 7/15/2020 to replace front struts at 139,706 miles
Service right before that was 5/19/2020 and was a complete maintenance service including Vehicle service that included - Maintenance inspection completed - Oil & Filter Changed - All Fluids inspected & topped off, changed as needed - Transmission checked - Brake light bulb(s) replaced - Battery/charging system checked - Timing belt replaced - Alignment checked Looks like all belts and hoses have been replaced
Transmission was rebuilt in 2016
I really enjoy driving these cars. This is the 3rd SVX I have owned and is definitely the nicest one. I drove one as a daily driver for over 2 years and it was great in all weather conditions. These are rare enough that people always stop and ask about it. Subaru fans always are excited to see one! My entire family drives Subarus from a LEGACY Anniversary edition GT Wagon, a FORESTER TURBO, Forester XT Turbo and a 2019 Forester Touring Edition! Fantastic cars! I have another SVX that I am planning on keeping and doing some fun Mods on!
This is a very well maintained car that was owned by a meticulous car guy that really loved it! Always Garaged, Never abused.
Tires are BF Goodrich g-force T/As 225/50/16 M + S rated with good tread mounted on stock original directional wheels
