This car is an absolute Blast to drive, handles like the true sports car that it is. Very nice on the highway and rips through the corners like it’s on rails! The turbocharged and intercooled 1.6-liter inline-four features electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 132 horsepower and 136 lb-ft of torquee and you can feel the power throughout the RPM range. Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Great to drive in city traffic and country roads! Draws lots of attention & Thumbs Up every time I drive it! People are always asking what it is.
Finished in Cardinal Red with a Black vinyl convertible top with a plastic rear window. The 2+2 interior features reclining front bucket seats and a fold-down rear bench upholstered in patterned gray cloth. Appointments include driver’s seat adjustable lumbar support, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, a lockable glove box, and a factory premium AM/FM cassette stereo linked to an 80-watt amplifier and four speakers. Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale. The Carfax report lists light damage to right front displays history with a single private owner in California through September 2022. The odometer reading was 23,562 miles. I kept the car in my collection until November 1st 2023 when I sold it with 24,862 miles to Current Owner who has kept it garaged & only driven it on special occasions. Odometer now shows 26,262 miles.
