Best Handling Big Twin Harley

1985 Harley-Davidson FXRS is powered by an 82ci Evolution V-twin paired with a five-speed transmission and belt final drive. Equipment includes alloy wheels, disc brakes, a stepped two-up seat. The dealer I bought the bike from performed quit a bit of work on it including overhauling the engine, installing a high-performance camshaft, S&S Super Carb and Shorty Drag Pipes making this a very Healthy Sounding and Running HARLEY! The Seller also replaced brakes, brake calipers, brake lines, tires, handlebars, and cables.

In Preparation for Riding Season (bike was in storage for a few months) I took the bike to SETTLE MOTORCYCLE SHOP in Lomita for a once over and safety check. Larry performed an oil & filter change, drained and cleaned gas tank and fuel lines, cleaned and adjusted the S&S carb, adjusted brake & Clutch cables, checked all lights. Turn signals do not have a Flasher so you just tap the button to flash them!

This bike is an ABSOLUTE BLAST TO RIDE AND HAULS ASS!

Bike is finished in black with orange and gold graphics on its 4.2-gallon fuel tank. Features include forward foot controls, H-D Chrome & Rubber collection rider and passenger foot pegs, an aftermarket Willie G. Skull-style shifter peg, a stepped Le Pera seat, and aftermarket turn signals. Chips are visible in the paint on the front master cylinder, wear is visible on the FXRS graphic on the bottom triple clamp cover. Close-up photos of blemishes in the paint are presented in the gallery. Some Pinstriping in Tank Graphs is if loose.

Cast alloy wheels measuring 19″ up front and 16″ out back were mounted with Kenda Challenger and Dunlop D402 tires, respectively. Suspension consists of a polished 38mm telescopic fork as well as dual chrome shocks mounted to the swingarm. Braking is handled by a single disc at both ends.

An aftermarket chrome T-bar handlebar carries black and chrome grips, aftermarket chrome mirrors, a black H-D fork bag, and an aftermarket white-dial 140-mph speedometer. A black and chrome tank-top console houses a fuel gauge and a fuel filler cap. The five-digit odometer shows 226 miles, and true mileage is unknown.

The air-cooled 80 inch Evolution V-twin features an aftermarket Live To Ride air cleaner cover, an H-D Flames collection timer cover, an H-D Live To Ride derby cover, High-Performance cam, S&S Carb and a chrome dual exhaust system. The engine was overhauled and repainted under previous ownership.
