Powered by a strong running rubber mounted 80" Evolution V-Twin with S&S Super Carb & performance exhaust, followed up with a smooth shifting 5 speed transmission with belt final drive. This frame design was introduced in 1980 and continued virtually unchanged through the 2008 Model year! Rubber mount design provided less vibration for a more comfortable ride.
An updated version of the Electra Glide with the Tour Glide frame and a "Batwing" fork-mounted fairing. Sold as "Standard" (FLHT), "Classic" (FLHTC) and "Ultra" (FLHTCU) models, the latter coming with addition crash bars, fairing lowers, black powder-coated engines and chrome work described as a "full dresser".
Good running & riding Electraglide. Purchased July 2018. Original speedo showing 45,643 miles included with bike. Owners manual included. Current odo reading 3,727. I have been using bike as daily ride. Recent service incl. all fluids, safety check, new battery, starter motor, starter clutch, starter drive gear, starter relay & related gaskets. Brakes, tires etc all in good serviceable condition. Saddlebags have been replaced / painted (bags are black primer, lids are correct gloss black) at some point and I have keys for lids. Tour pack has also been replaced at some point & that key is included. The windshield appears to be correct and all brackets are present to install a factory or aftermarket Bat Wing Fairing (not included) Seat has been upgraded and is in nice condition. Passenger backrest is replacement part with couple small rips / tears. Over all paint is very nice with the exception bags. 80" Evo runs strong equipped with S&S carb and performance exhaust, no major leaks. Trans shift well, overall good rider! Little more detail work & TLC or ride as is!
