1967 Chrysler Imperial Crown Coupe Very Original $16,967 SALE PENDING —- GOING TO GERMANY

The 1967 Imperial Crown Coupe comes from the era when Bigger Is Better was the rule of the day!  This Classic ride is finished in gold over white leather upholstery and is powered by a 440ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a white vinyl Opera roof, power windows, aftermarket cruise control, a horizontally slotted grille, a full-width taillight, vertical chrome tailfins, and 15″ steel wheels with turbine covers. The car was acquired by me in October 2022.

Recent service performed during last ownership included replacing the battery, spark plugs, fuel pump, and front brake calipers. The last owner reports that the body was refinished in its current correct shade of gold and the white vinyl Opera roof was replaced during prior ownership. Equipment includes polished trim, a horizontally slotted grille, quadruple headlights, a full-width taillight, and vertical chrome tailfins. There is very minor rust on the front of the hood, inside of the trunk, lower rear panels, and areas under the vinyl hardtop covering has minor rust bubbling up. The power antenna and the windshield washers do not work.

Steel 15″ wheels are fitted with Imperial-branded turbine covers and mounted with new 235/75R 15 SURTRAC 1.5 inch Whitewall tires. A spare is mounted in the trunk. The front brake pads and calipers were replaced in April 2022.

The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in the original two-tone white and black leather. Appointments include aftermarket cruise control, power windows, power front seats, faux woodgrain trim accents, and Imperial-branded door sills. The push-button radio does not work, and wear is visible on the driver’s seat and armrest. The seller notes that the air conditioning does not blow cold, the cigarette lighters do not work, the left-front and right-rear windows go up slowly, the turn signal stalk must be held down to signal to the right. The power antenna and the windshield washers do not work.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, alternator output, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 89,700 miles, approximately 2k of which have been added during last ownership.

The 440ci V8 is equipped with an Imperial-branded air cleaner cover and turquoise valve covers. Engine fires right up every time, is very quiet, runs super smooth & is quite powerful.  The three speed Torque Flight transmission shifts smoot and operates as it was intended! Service under last ownership has reportedly included replacing the battery, spark plugs, fuel pump, and fuel filter as well as changing the oil

Every time I drive this car it attracts a ton of attention. Everyone loves the Majestic Look of this fantastic HUGE piece of American Automotive History! They don’t build them like this anymore.

NO DISSAPOINTMENTS WITH THIS ONE!
