1962 FORD F100 - LISTED ON BRING A TRAILER $$$$old $5900 Going to California!
Real cool survivor! Previous owner has been a long time Blue Grass / Country artist in Portland Oregon that used this F100 as his main daily driver for 20 + years! He purchased the truck about 25 years ago in Susanville California It was a big part of the Bands he played with as it was used to transport their equipment to gigs around Oregon. He was meticulous in maintaining the truck as he had to rely on it totally!
Powered by a bullet proof 223” Inline 6 cylinder with a 4 speed transmission provides plenty of power and reliability, starts right, runs and drives good. Carburetor was rebuilt prior to my acquiring it. Recent services & upgrades include Fresh oil & filter, all fluids checked and topped off as needed, steering box adjusted and tightened up. New Red Powder Coated 16” wheels with correct ford hub caps and new tires just installed. New correct rubber floor mat and headliner installed along with a nice seat cover. Missing the glove box.
At some point the this F100 was painted a period correct Blue. Interior paint appears to be original. There are several dings, dents and imperfections on the body and paint that just adds to the character. Tailgate has had some work done on it but is solid and straight. Paint is chipped and peeling in several places along with surface rust and bubbling but nothing really major! Floors are pretty solid with a couple small drain holes, bed is also pretty decent. (see many detail photos). Chassis and all suspension components are solid. Most of the chrome and bright work looks to be there and in decent original condition with some miner pitting. All glass is good with no cracks and no leaks around seals. Front bumper is original white with patina. A rear step bumper has been installed! Lights all work. Current Oregon Registration.
